Hawthorn's in early bloom.

Hi everybody,
here are some pictures of 2 of my Hawthorns I made this afternoon. I was just in time to make them, because the flower paddles were all ready starting to fall of! Hawthorn is called Meidoorn ( Maythorn) in Holland, because they suppose to bloom in early May! Everything over here is about two weeks to soon this year, and all weather records are broken! I hope you like the early summer image of my Hawthorn Bonsai?
Regards,
Hans van meer.

P.S: the story of the collecting and styling of these two Hawthorns you can find on my web side.

Hi,
They are very nice in my opinion. What's their Latin name?
And I have another question, is there any thread allowing new users to introduce themselves? I'm a newbie.

The first one is awesome! What's the plan for the first branches on that one?
