Golden Scotts Pine

Hello

I have been styling a Pinus silvestris 'Aurea' today and i feel that much improvement has been made - after about 5 hours work. The tree is estimated to be around 12 - 13 yrs old and has a height of roughly 3 ft. This species isnt generally thought of as good material as some regard the golden yellow appearance as being ill. I feel the complete opposite to this. The tree looks great when displayed along side normal scotts pine and Japanese White pines next to the koi pond. Anyway heres the before and after pictures - be patient theres quite a few of them (sorry if they load slow) but i feel its worth the wait. This tree is obviously very thin in the trunk and will require further growing to improve the appearance and ramification of the branches. The pot is just a simple terracotta training pot that cost around £20 and the tree cost just £12 three years ago.

Enjoy!! - comments welcome
