Moshe,

Thank you very much for posting these pictures. Not only are the trees good (and many are species that I don't know well), but it is refreshing to see bonsai display as art in an art museum setting. While I might quibble with a few of the minor aesthetic details, I very much appreciate the spirit in which this display has been designed.

I particularly like the picture of the person studying the tree. Usually when we photograph bonsai as art, we are careful not to show any humans. But here, you did the opposite, and it's great. In this case, it really furthers the sense that this is taking place in an artistic setting, and is being appreciated as such.

Best regards,
Carl

Moshe:

Great show, and thank you very much for sharing. I also really liked the picture with the woman viewing the tree. It shows that your Club's efforts are appreciated at home as well as online. Mazel tov!

I REALLY like the tree in that last picture (10.jpg). What kind of tree is it? Such nice bark and interesting foliage.

shalom,
pootsie

Thank you Jhonatan, This is the place to mention that all the above pictures were taken by Jhonatan Arnon (JARNON), and of course he deserves all the credit, I was only the courier.

Pootsie, to my best knowledge this tree is MELALEUCA INCANA.

Is the melaleuca native to your area?

And who are the owners of the trees? Either of you?

More pictures?

Hi Pootsie,
As mentioned above, the trees belong to some members of the Israeli Bonsai Club and Israeli Bonsai forum.
Strangely enough the MELALEUCA is native to South Australia and it is from the Myrtaceae family.
