Ficus Suggestions
I think I have a good idea what I'd like to see become of this tree, but I figured I'd open it up to suggestions to see if anything that might come back would be more appealing. thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions.

Chris,
i'd thin the top out a bit for now and let the lower branches grow so that they are more in proportion to the tree it looks nice like it is but,you can improve it over the long term by planning NOT to have a couple of sticks on the lower trunk and a blob of foliage at the top...i'm terrible at virtuals...i wish i could show you what i mean.....maybe http://pictures.bonsaitalk.com/showphoto.php?photo=1186 i hope this is acceptable...this is a link to an example of how the tree could be more balanced(to my eyes)..top to bottom (edit) my apologies,Chris....a political forum i sometimes enjoy i've replace the link with the one i originally intendedandy

i too would like to see the branches more proportional, thanks for the tip. by the way, the link you provided brought me to an online discussion about the gays being married. although i have my thoughts on this and many other political issues, i won't go into them here. so,........i could not see the tree you were trying to show me.

i had seen this tree here (the one from your link) and i would like to create something similar with a little more top foliage and seperation between the lower branching, as i have started. but that tree is a beautiful one itself. thanx for the advice.
