Ficus benjamina- tree in progress

This is my ficus on it's 2nd year of training. The pictures show the tree in it's original form, the top of the tree and the tree as it looks at the present.

It's missing som branches, which I'm planning to solve by grafting branches from the top of the original tree on to this one.

What do you think?

honestly i think its way too thin to be anything at the moment.....

it needs alot of growing.....

i think perhaps you should upsize a growing pot to get it thicker etc..

or possibly grow it in the ground and get it some character...

Thumbs down

Planting a Ficus Benjamina, in the ground in Denmark Western Australia, would not be an option.
In Denmark Europe it is dead for sure it is a tropical tree!!!.
So please be careful with your help.
As what I see is more of a hiderance. Just my opinion Pup

Keep them warm and humid, feed it well and it will bud back.
Keeping it warm in Denmark and the UK means a glass house or something similar.
Mine in Western Australia are kept in a cold frame all year long.
Hope this is of help. Pup

Thanks Pup! So, there is an alternative to developing branches aside from grafting, just in case the grafts don't take etc.
