Ficus Benjamina.

The average temperatures of last month where I live are well over 30C (86.00F), there is nothing to do with the trees but to water and spray water, but I had to do something, so two weeks ago I had purchase a ficus.
It is my first and only ficus Benjamina, for no explained reason I did not like the ficus tree, I had bought a nursery stock at 40NIS (9$).
I had "played" with it and pot it in an oversize training pot. I believe that the final pot will be round and shallower, maybe the same color.
It is over two weeks since the "operation", the tree is alive and well and very vigor.

Be careful with this species. You need at least one leaf at the end of each branch or the branch will die.

LivingArt,
What style I have in mind? What about Informal Upright Broom style? There is no such a style…

if your ben grows as fast as mine do you'll love it. i have about 150 something of them and about 10 that i can style and 4 with AR's. there are soooooooooo many sub verities of ben that it's not even funny. mine have a pale tint to the bark and dark small wavy leaves. some bens aren't very generous with AR's but i lucked out. mine put out AR's as young as 4 months and 3 to 5 inches tall!
best of luck

Still to hot to do anything so I continue to play with my poor ficus.
I had repotted it to a very shallow growing box and reshape it.

I think you need to simplify the branches at the top of the tree even further.

Once it has recovered from being repotted you might also want to take some of those branches and re-direct them more towards the horizontal.

Just an opinion.
