bunjin elm
this is a store bought cork elm that i purchased at a local nursery.when i got it it only had a few branches on it. i know this tree needs some time in open ground to thicken up. i just want some opinions and a time line of what i should do. purchased as a trunk which had poor drainage so i reppoted it. i plan to repott this tree into open ground to give it a good taper. i also plan to cut some of the higher branches back so they separate and look more full.
i just want some opinions and maybe a time line as well. Last edited by theelmboy : 9-Feb-2006 at 02:08 PM. |

I wonder if this could make for a bunjin form? The only flaw I can see going for it would be the overly thick branches in the canopy?
