It's 17 years old.
It went for 105€ (124$).
2 months ago I had seen another one for 150€ (177$) at another local mall but the training was clearly behind this one. This one has much better tapper.
I didn't think about it for more than 5 seconds.

And the leaves' smell... Ahhh! ...it reminds me of childhood when there were two big ones in front of my grandparents home and I used to hide beneath them...

2 questions:
Do you think it was expensive?
The bigger lower branch, (the leftmost one with the fig on the 1st & 2nd pictures) I guess it could look better if it wasnt't so long.
Is it safe to trim it to one of those emerging buds? At which time of the year? (I guess after the fig matures ?)

The trunk certainly has great possibilities. The last photo shows emerging buds at the internodes. Cutting back to just above any internode, to handle potential dieback, will likely stimulate thes buds to grow. Depending upon your temperature and light levels, ficus can be pruned whenever you like as long as it is warm warm and bright. Note, on your back side picture, the pruning scars that are healing, they were branches removed that probably served to thicken the trunk - sacrifice branches.
