Elm Forest, Out Of Hibernation

I repotted this forest last month. The leaves are starting to open. The leaves come out with the most vibrent green, that it almost hurts your eyes. Almost chartruese.

This is the before last year with the ugly trees in the background.

This is how it looks now with the new trees. I replaced 3 trees in the grove and added an extra one to make eleven. I had a small boxwood in it before. Don't ask me why, I don't know.

This area before had a tree that had one of those huge set of claw roots on it. This was one ugly plant. That plant has been taken out and planted seperatly in its own 5 gallon pot to have three trees layered off it.

This is a close up of the same area with a three tree sub group there. I feel it adds some extra varity to the back of the forest and invites the eye back there for a look see.

Best regards, Bonsai-al
