Re: ebay azalea

here also is a cotoneaster i got off ebay that arrived with glued on stones! I pulled that off immediately otherwise i haven't touched it. it has green berries on it presently. will they turn red?

I was quite upset when i saw the glued stones but overall the tree looks nice. The picture is a little hazy in the center (that's not the tree). My photography skills need to improve.

If you wish to continue to post pics you must switch to Mt. Dew or something. Juliet-of-Oz has the coke can thing nailed down tight! You got to think original here if you want to compete. Got any old Billy Beer cans?

Re: ebay azalea

Personally, I think my pictures all look great when I'm drinking beer. Maybe not so great the next morning, though....

I think the Azalea needs to go into a big grow pot or box for awhile. There isn't enough there to really style or even have an idea of how to style. In a couple years you will have a better idea about its future.

The Cotoneaster looks great. I would just take real good care of it for awhile. Don't blame you for being upset, you got a Mallsai. But if it lives it has a wonderful future.

Re: ebay azalea

Thanks Earl. After I got over the initital shock of glued rocks and really took a good look at the cotoneaster, I think it will be a good tree too.

I was advised to begin styling early with azalea's because of how brittle the bark becomes as it gets older. I'd like to have it cascade like I've seen other azaleas. I guess patience is needed.

Hope you made a comment for that seller on Ebay warning the rest of us about the glued on rocks.

I thought that was standard ***e-Bay***? If there is a figurine or gravel, it's to be [i:6998b58205]assumed[/i:6998b58205] that they will be glued on

Re: ebay azalea

Kathy,

I also think a grow box or large garden pot would be the best way to go with this azalea. I wouldn't do anything but let it grow once you put in it into a lager container. I must remember to not buy any of the tree's of ebay now. Athough I did buy some black pine seed's
