Question Eastern White Cedar

Thought I would try my own digi-cam since trying out my son-in law's . This is an eastern white cedar aka arbovitae that was collected a few years ago and is ready to style but I keep going back and forth as to weather to style it as a semi-cascade or an informal upright of sorts .It is an unusual piece of material and I just want to try to do it justice as it does appear to be quite old .I'll post a few views and see what you all can come up with.
Regards ,
Jonathan

Interesting material!

I very much like the informal upright approach.
How about something along these lines?

Hi Jemmick,

This is a very nice piece of material !! OMC is right about that option. Just for the idea I made a virtual of a semi cascade.

I immediately fell in love with this one. Very nice material.
I also made a virt for a cascade style. It was mainly a practice for me in the use of layers in PSP.
Enjoy.

Thanks All for your virtuals !! They all opened up avenues for me and I surely appreciate them, each with a different approach. I am leaning toward Rene's approach only because that is what I had envisioned at the outset of this styling. OMCs virt is excellent also for the informal upright approach. However, the trunk is a mear 2 in. and I am afraid the ratio of 1:6 could not be realized (being the optimum ratio of the trunk to the total height of the tree). Again thanks for your virtual help and I will study them all winter till I style it in the spring !
Regards,
Jonathan .

Hi Jemmick,

I wouldn't worry too much about the 1:6 ratio. OMC's idea is very good, and I would personaly probably go for that option. I just made the virtual to give an idea of how a semi cascade would look like. But hey, it's your tree and your choice, and both options will look good.

good luck,

René
