crown of thorns root over cow vertebrae

I was attempting to get that skelleton in the desert feel with this one. The bone turnes bright white when not moist. (this was just watered) I just cut it back significantly and in the coming months it will be more of a full bush. I left the tall shoot on the top of it to show the color of the flowers.
pics two and three are a closer look at the roots and vertebrae.
No animals were harmed in the making of this bonsai. haha. I found the bone on the snake river in washington burried in the sediment on the beach.
let me know what you think,
Diatribe.

Nick already has a backbone (from a largish animal) and tree composition in development.
