technically and IMHO, a bar is any two branches on the same level. They don't have to be R/L to be a bar. But, hiding one as a back can help stylistically, but ...

I made a decision and just removed the bar altogether, there is another back branch that seemed logical and better placed. In the photo however it appears that the back branch is still barred with the nr 2, this is not the case, but the branch juts upward from about 1/2 an inch or so below nr 2. I will need to get some raffia to get these branches wired properly. Also the top of the photo cuts off the leader about 4 inches, I did not cut this at all in an attempt to give it more height (not much) and a little thicker lead.
Taking a picture at nite has always been my favorite way to take photos.
