Hi Zen,
Thank you for your "Virt". Due to special circumstances a lot of my trees had died, this tree is one of them.

Oh i'm so sorry to hear that Carmi. Hope you get a chance to get back up in those mountains again sometime to get some other nice stuff. I am secretly a yamadori fan. Don't tell anyone. xD

Shalom Moshe....Now I'm very jealous...collected pines in the hills around Jerusalem....Imagine the history that little guy and his parents/great grandparents has seen...boggles the mind...I'd kill to work on some trees from there....I bet you could find some nice olives as well...
Great find mate, keep on collecting! Happy growing Tai |

Hi,
As promised here are photos of yamadori from Jerusalem Mountains. Three trees, a Jerusalem pine (Pinus halepensis) that was fine growing cascade in a hole in a rock with no chance to survive, a carob and a Brazilian peppertree (Schinus molle) that probably were pruned as pre bonsai by goats. It was very unusual to find a Brazilian peppertree in the mountains as it is not an Israeli tree; probably its seeds were transferred by birds.
