Collected Crepe Myrtles.

i was walking past this vacant block in my city where the house that was there must have burn't down arount 20 years ago,
i would say that the reason noone has rebiult there is because there is a freeway on one side and the train rails on the other(shudder), it is now owned by state rail who by the looks of it are intending on turning it into a carpark or something similar,
so in i went just for a look
to my delight there were about 10 HUGE completely overgrown Crepe myrtle trees (as well as various other Rhododenderons and the like) with suckers growing just about everywhere, some looked like they have been run over with heavy machinery a dozen times some were just prime examples of potensai, all were growing in Broken brick, burnt concrete , and the most poor excuse for dirt i have seen in a while, and they were all in pretty bad shape and looking half dead
anyway to cut a long story short , armed with my trusty garden trowel , a bottle of water some plastic bags and some newspaper i went to work on the best looking specimens and around an hour later had at least to potential bonasi .
everything i collected needs a fair amount of recovery time but already 1 tough little individual is pushing buds.
i would love your opinions on these and maybe a virt or 2,
people often see things from an angle and perspective that i can't
Cheers

this is the front (i'm thinking)
