At the moment I'm leaning towards Bonitah's shape and Whimsical's colour. I must admit I'd never even thought of a light coloured pot for this tree. That's the beauty of this place. Thanks all.

Well no matter how hard I look, I can't find the pot I have pictured in my mind. As a last resort I tried a virtual with the current green one... am I just kidding myself that it looks good

This may be just the photography,

My take on the pot is that it almost gives the impression of a pond in front of the tree reflecting the foliage back at you. True, it can be a bit distracting, but I think the pot complements the tree nicely.

I think thats a really nice pot for that tree. From the picture, the reliefs in the pot seem to mimic the texture of the tree quite nicely. And, the roundness as I suspected it would, accentuates an almost femine quality of the tree.
