CH ELM, JP Maple
HI. I have this Chinese elm that I recently bought.
But I´m Not happy with the way it looks like. If You have any Ideas i would like to here them please. here is a crude virtual of what i would do. it is merely my opinion, but i would train this tree with the chinese influence/ pejing in mind. it is hard to see the exact lines the tree has in the photo, but this should give a rough idea of what i mean. this would be my initial styling then of course there would be a lot of refinement needed. as far as your maple, i say just let it grow for a couple of years to allow for more branching to work with. prune it only if you think it is necessary to "guide" the tree towards a certain style or desired look. anyway, heres the virt. of your ch. elm.
