Central Oklahoma Bonsai Society Show

This weekend is our annual show. Not as many trees this year as in the past but still a lot of fun. Wish Kirby was here this year cause I'm doing a demo this afternoon, should be a hoot. I'm posting some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Thumbs up fortunate

The part I like the most is there are no silly blue ribbons draped around. Thanks for your time Harry! I see a jbp that gives me the he-bee-jee-bees

Harry,
I just realized there are no accent plants. Was this an easy agreement for the club?

The absence of dividers, accents, and few mats or stands sure gives it a clean focused look. I really like the simplicity. The table geometry and the placement of the bench are all excellent.

The shows I have been to have always had many full display compositions with stands and accents etc... I enjoy those a lot too because the thought and planning that goes into so many elements is another extension of the art. Some stands or mats are very creative.

Seeing your pictures really shows another way to display that is absolutely clean. Thank you for sharing.
