IMO, to use as is you should do the first literati, only because of how thin the trunk is. What would be even cooler, though, is to do a few years of field growing and chopping back to get that trunk thicker!

I like 1 and 3 I'd start with 3 (looks weeping) and see how it starts to fill in and grow...You can always make it bunjingi if you don't like weeping...but the reverse is a bit more difficult

HI Theelmboy,

I'm sorry but i had to make a virtual, i hope you do not mint?
Alldo to trunk is slender, I think this tree can stil look nice if you keep the foliage open and light !
In time the tree trunk will grow thicker and start looking older!
I hope it helps you a bit,
Hans van Meer.

Hi i posted 2 more drawings, the are not to good, but i am very sleepy!
If compare your pic with my drawing, you can see that u actualy dont even have to bend the trunk much!
I dont even think it is necessary, but you can protect the trunk with wet rafia (see drawing), place a iron bar, secure to the botem of the trunk with wire, a blok of wood were you want to bent, a thick copper wire to pull te tree towards the bar (protect tree from being cut ).
Do this bending in stages! If necessary over several mounts !
Take out all the branges you dont need (see drawing), you can see that the branches that are left now are nicely placed and can be bent down or in place with out much problems.
If you dont mint, i will post tomorrow about the branches if you like ?
But now i'm to tired to think!
Good night all!!!
Hans.

I agree with Bunjin form on this,it already has the moves and will mature with time as Hans suggest.Maybe someone familiar with your area can help you with timing for your zone in regards to trimming and wire etc.. .
