Cedar... Keep Or Throw Away ??

Hi,

This cedar was styled during my beginners bonsai course. After a while I started to dislike the way it was done so I removed the wires and pruned away some jins. This is the before the styling : (sorry for the poor quality..)

Then the tree decided it had too many branches so a few died. This is what is left. It seems healthy now, there's a lot of new growth, but what to do with it ? Any ideas ??

regards, René

I guess you still have a few options, windswept comes to mind, maybe literati in a few more years time with lots of growth.

I might give this a go on the virtual machine and see what I can come up with.

What I do after cutting too much, I mean sometimes I cut way more than expected, and end out without a nice shape and without working material, I just let it grow. For example, I had an azalea, which I cutted way too much, so now it's in a box growing wild, so, in a couple of months/years, I will see what can I do with it... Anyway, throwing a tree well, let's don't even consider it Although your tree is certainly fine... So give it time, don't look it too much, since when you look it you get anxious to watch it as your other trees... And your other trees are really something... so, my suggestion is to let it grow!!! (Let it be, I've heard this b4 )

Ok, bye...
