I made a virtual from the first of Mr. Shemi's bonsai, inspired by that Carob on the hillside. Reminds me of our Coastal Live oak! Of course, I don't know if anything like this is possible, or even practical.

I would probably begin by thread grafting the young branch at the base through a hole drilled in the branch on the left about one inch so after the fork to create a low branch on that side.

Continues of the carob growing:
From the shock of repotting and cutting the taper root, the old leaves had died, but as it is the right season, a new growth begins.
Btw. It has a beautiful nebari.
