Hi Guys, I also have one of Hectors honeysuckle cuttings and it has become huge in the last two years, and yes it does like moisture.

so it sounds to me i can prune the hell out of it and it will be fine, so does that mean i shouldnt have to stress to much about waiting for the trim on the top left branch?

heres an updated photo, larger

hey guys here is a bigger pic, with a few minor changes a little bit of wire and a few movements, think it has helped a bit, that top left hand branch has gone, so i think it i has helped created better structure with the overall design. now i have to wait for the foliage to thicken out! on the bottom right branch might get romoved or changed i dont know if i like the right angle on it, i was trying to flatten off the foliage to level it a bit! we will have to wait and see what happens.

so whats does people think now?

well Kyle thats not necessarily true All the time. my mother has honeysuckle growing along her fence, all the way from the front to the back yard. and it has been below freezing and snowed like crazy this winter Many a times. and almost all the leaves on there are green, there are a couple that turned yellow. But really not many

That is a different Honeysuckle than the Cape Honeysuckle. The Cape is not hardy in Michigan and must be kept indoors for the winter.
