calif juniper.. which front/virtual would you chose?

This is a california Juniper that has been grafted with shimpaku foliage.. its now ready to style but I have been racking my brain with how to proceed.. I narrowed it down to two options.. but am still undecided...

What route would you take?

pic #1 as it is today.. proposed front #1

Pic #2 virtual

pic #3 as it is today proposed front #2

note-- when veiwed in 3 dimensions the lower left branch sits toward the viewer more than the apex.. in 3d this is not a feature I have seen on other trees and it concerns me that it would not look or feel right.

pic #4 virtual

if it were mine, I would go with pic #1.
This will be a great tree.

This is fine looking material! I would go with #1. Continue to extend the foliage on the right side downward at about a 45 degree angle, and open it up some. As sensei John Naka would say, "let the birds fly through".

I like pic#2. The refined sweep of the foilage to the left is a nice balance to the rugged and exciting shari and jin. Nice tree. Great fun to work with. You might want to turn it just a shade toward us so the big jinned branch isn't sticking strait at the viewer. Sandi

I prefer the front #1, but dislike the virtual number 2. But, with front #1, there is alot of potential.

Virtual #4 is too forward to us when we look at it.

Regards,
Patrick
