I undertand that politics is a matter of great interest to many. Posts above emphasize how it can color our perceptions, consume our time and even make us misread forum titles.
We've had enough controversy in the past weeks on the subject of bonsai alone that we don't need to bring a political bent into this mix. Most people come here to read about bonsai, so we need to focus on that here. Toward that end, two posts above debating issues of a political nature have been removed from the bonsaiTALK forum. I let the first two comments go, because the idea that "Politics is taking over my life" touches the line, but the two posted subsequently clearly cross it. A political discussion could easily swamp the board with posts related to the American election and leave little room for bonsai. Please continue to enjoy this bonsai forum. Regards, Matt bonsaiTALK administrator

Well put Matt,
I was going to say that, but when I started to write the post, I figured that its more your place to address this. Anyone else who wants to write in this thread should talk about brush cherries! LOL Anthony* |

Yes, I agree... I've seen it happen on many forums: a simple comment that turns into namecalling and hostility. It won't happen again.

Fall cares with Brush Cherry?
Hello! Now that we are back to the Bonsai issue... Anthony, are you taking any special cares of your tree in this Fall? I mean, how does your tree react to a northern fall? I have some pre-bonsai and bonsai of Brush Cherry, but as i am in Puerto Rico, in the coast, my trees do not go thru any change or fall process. Then i am curious of knowing how do they react. And by the way, I think your tree is just wonderful. Thanks, Jorge Joel... Emilia's Garden |

Hi Jorge,
Both my tropicals, the cherry and a fig are inside now, with grow lights, 70 degree weather and some humidty. They do just fine in that enviroment for me. I wouldn't dare put them outside now! Anthony* |

Brush Cherry.
Hi Anthony!
Ohh, I see... Thanks for your information. I was wondering how do you manage cold weather with these trees. Now i ask you, do your indoor trees keep growing thru this seasons, or the just stop the growth? Thanks, Jorge Joel... Emilia's Garden |
