Brush Cherry

Howdy All,

Here is a brush cherry that I purchased from Bonsai West in Littleton, MA last week. At this past sunday's workshop at Bonsai West I began my first set of styling with this tree. I find that brush cherries tend to be rather bushy, need thining out, and need some severe wiring. Here's a before and after of the work that has been done. All comments would be greatly apprectiated!

Thanks,

Anthony

Make sure you are following the file size requirements. If the picture is too big, it won't show up.

I have two brush cherries at the moment. One is a small new pre bonsai that shows great promise, the other is one I picked up from the "I need TLC" section of a garden center two years ago for $10. I really need to do something with the second one, but I'm completely clueless. Maybe I should post it to the help section and get someone to give me suggestions.

I may do that with mine as well. Let us know when you post those photos of your trees.

Damn, I'm too involved in the U.S. election (even though I'm a swede living in sweden) because I just read the topic as: Bush Kerry...not Brush Cherry.

Joakim... can you imagine how it is for us here IN the states? All day every day... and thankfully only one week to go. Did I say "thankfully"?, I meant "hopefully" (with visions of Florida 2000 running through my head)...

UGH

Jennifer
