This Is Another Of My Potential Bonsai With A Few More Years In Training ,i Dug It Up From A Friends Garden Two Years Ago And Am In The Process Of Building A Top Half Of The Trunk,but Dont Know What To Do After That ,any Ideas Would Be Greatly Appreciated

Simon:

I like the direction you are taking your bougie. The leader will quickly add movement and some taper to the trunk. The success of your design will depend on any growth appearing from the left side. I can see the first signs of a nebari as well . Was this a cutting? What color are its bracts?

Hi All Thanks For The Coment And Sugestions -im Not Sure If This Is A Cutting
As The Original Owner Recently Past-away (this Tree Is In Memory Of Her)-the Bracts Are I Think Orange -i Would Also Like To Know How Hard I Can Fertilize This Plant -aron I Like The Pic But I Dont Really Like Trays They Dry Out Quick Here ,any Other Pot Suggestions?

I would suggest a glazed navy blue or black oval pot which would go very nice with the orange colored bracts...
