Muniz (or anyone else that knows),
I have a Bougie, that I would like to induce branch growth lower on the trunk. Will bougies branch on older growth like that? Can I induce this growth by cutting back newer growth? Is there anything more specific I can do?

Ralph,

I never saw a Bougie with branches lower on the trunk. The unique possible way is to cut the trunk in a lower portion and wait (too much) new buds.
If you cut back new growth, you will not reach this.
