Hey Gary. I am glad to see you post here. I did not realize that you read BonsaiTALK forum; I thought you only read Internet Bosai Club.

You will find that I am usually a serious person. It can take a lot to get me to smile .

All of my photos from last year's convention were accidently deleted. I had them posted online here, but those were lost in the fire.

Al,
I have many trees that I could have exhibited in this convention, but Jim VanLandingham and I agreed that it would be best to wait to show one of my top quality large trees first. This way everyone would understand just how serious I am about bonsai.

This tree is my first choice to exhibit. I would like to have it at next year's convention, but I am not sure if it will be ready. I still have a lot of work to do on the apex. My reason for wanting to show this tree is mainly because it is one of the largest trunked bougainvillea bonsai in the state of Florida. There are only two or three which are competing with it in trunk size; one being a pink pixie, which is quite impressive due to the fact that pink pixies take much longer to grow a large trunk than the purple variety.

Nice Posting, Charles.

I'm very envious of your ability to grow stuff in Florida!

That's quite a bougie!

Please note my plea for help:

Bougie question

Thanks for both.
