bonsai daughters

today my daughters had their first lesson in defoliation of their jade trees, made me so proud and they enjoyed it. my wife and i are hairdresser's so these girls were born to hold scissors.

1st is nika and 2nd is jelena.

What a blessing to have such beautiful daughters interested in bonsai! When I bring up the subject of which one of you will take care of my trees once I move on..my adult sons reply - in unison I may add are "not me Mom!"

thanks randi i hope so , so far its my youngest (jelena) that is excited about all these trees being hers one day. my 19 old son doesnt want a bar of m. he says watering all of them when im away on vacation is enough to do his head in.

Just wondered, are you sure they aren't portulacaria afras? Great for kids to work with, as would be ming aralia. Great pics, thanks, Larry
