Bonsai Backyard

Here are a few shots of the trees. I love this time of year when everything is new again!

Hope you enjoy.

Happy Easter!

Tim

Hey Tim,
nice set up you got going there. I can't believe your J.Maples are that full already, wow.

Looks I may need to stop by though and do a little work on that cascading juniper.

Thanks Thomas. That's a Kishu that has had NO work done to it. I got it two years ago, put it in a bonsai pot and haven't done a thing to it. I was thinking about selling it.

So why are you thinking of selling it Tim, have you just lost interest in it? It looks pretty healthy, although a few I've seen seem to be a bit fragile when it comes to pinching and they seem to brown up and weaken real easily.

Thomas,

The tree is very healthy. I just have too many. I'm thinking of selling about six and replacing them two or three nicer ones. I have a lot of "average" trees.

I know what you mean Tim by too many average trees. I just sold my last trident maple, the large one. Even though most wouldn't call it their average tree, for me it was just that since I now take a liking more to the junipers and JBPs.

Deshojo. One of the best for spring color. It's fire engine red for the first couple of days then red, green in summer and back to red in the fall.
