Hey Qaelan,

Nice to see someone else on here that's so close, might see you round the traps! The Northwest Bonsai club is having a workshop/meeting tonight in Yarraville. You should go. I'm taking some plants to get some advice and meet some of the other people who post on this site. Should be fun.

Sounds good Roosy,

I'll try and make it if I can. Who else on these forums is a member?

Well I'm not actually a member yet. That's why I'm going tonight. Just to see what the club thing is all about. I know DavidN is a member. He's posted a few replies for me and recommended going. He said the club is aimed more at beginners, so....could be well worth getting involved. Don't really know anyone else, but i've seen a fair few posts from people living in Melbourne. Anyway, maybe i'll see you there!

Roosy.

its not a casuarina! casuarina needles are about a foot long. lol

i have a few red pines, and honestly they are just as easy as any other pine! monterey (radiata) pines always work well aswell!!

make the most of what you got!
