Tree herder
|
I was out doing the daily inspection and when I got to my picea group I spotted this. I can only assume it is a bubble of sap. I have never seen anything like this anywhere before... Has anyone else?
Regards, Chris.

How odd, definitely looks like a bubble of sap, unless your Piceas are getting ridiculously clever and learning to blow bubbles with bubble gum
food for thought, one day trees could take over the world ![]()

Well... Pica is spruce and originally chewing gum came from the spruce tree...
When I was a kid my old man took me camping and showed me how to get "spruce gum" off the tree and how to chew it into gum... Only bad thing though if you don't do it right it doesn't turn into a chewable gum it just gets your teeth all sticky with spruce sap! Adam |
