Big Larch first Styling

The Larch that Mick Sherman, Carving With the Cocknet Thread, carved for me had a very loosly wired initial styling, just to get some basic shape into it.

Let me know what you think...

Kind Regards

Andy

Stonemonkey....I really like your carved larch, I wanted something chunky and carved in my collection too. So last week this Yew was created by the original slayer of the Queens English Mr Kevin Willson.

Hi Arnie

Thanks for the compliments. My tutor Mick Sherman, with whom I have working with for a couple of years now, spent a few years working with Kevin and has similar style. I have seen a few of Kevins demo's, and like you I am a big fan of carving.

The Yew looks great, you will have to post it when you repot, looks like it will turn out to be a good specimen tree. I will also re-post my Larch when I have made a pot for it. Should be ready to repot next Spring

Regards

Andy
