Re: Benches

Very nice set up. You obviously have put in a alot of time designing the whole area so they show off the trees to the max. If you find yourself needing more room you might just add shelves below the one in the first picture in bleacher style...steeping down and out from the one above.. That way you wouldn't destroy the nice setting.

Re: Benches

Al,

I'm afraid that bungin is about to die on me. I put it outside to early when it had bud out already and the new tips gor frozen. Now all the foliage is drying up and dying. I really hate this because this was the only tree that was starting to look like a bonsai and it was a present from my parents

Earl,

Thanks, the problem is not that my garden is to small, but that I have two kids running around that want to have some space to play. (and rightly so). The problem is ofcourse to prevent them (and their friends) from playing soccer near my tables.. .

Matt,

May I introduce you to Bullah. This was a present from my wife. My daughters mispronounced his name (buddah) so we now call him bullah. He is protecting my trees from demons and birds ..

Re: Benches

Oh No, Rene, you are over there in the Netherlands and don't know what a clog is.

A "clog" is what happens when you repot your bonsai in the kitchen sink and forget to put the drain plug in.

But I think the "clog" is question is the largest of those cute wooden shoes they wear in Holland. There are 10 of them hanging on the wall above your bonsai.

Oh, that's a "clog?"

My wife called it "grounds for divorce."
