Before and after Larch Grouping

after allowing these larches to grow unchecked for a year I decided it was time to do a little pruning.

Condensation on Camera Lens

Just a little tip about your camera. From your photos, it looks to me as though there is condensation on your lens. This happens when you take your camera from an air conditioned house out into warm moist air. Just let the camera sit outside in the shade for 5 minutes or so to let the condensation evaporate and the camera warm up a bit and you should be all set.

As for your trees, they look good to me. Keep up the good work.

I think that the before and after represent a great improvement.

Constructive criticism offered with only the best intentions:

I think that you could achieve a much more dramatic and impressive look if you were to plant all the tree's completely vertical. The outward growing tree's to me look un-natural and forced.

I appreciate your comments, I have 3 more trees that will be joining this group next spring (still on the hunt for a appropriate pot) I will bring the outward pointing trees in a bit, it may be hard to tell from my not so great picture that there are 5 live trees and 2 dead trees(left to break down somewhat naturally).

Thanks
Colin
