Azalea

Well I'm a begginer and this is one of my stock tree made bonsai. I have read that azaleas are not suitable for broom style but I want to test. I need to refine branch structure and wire down the branches. Visit my web page http://www.alexbonsai.4t.com

Re: Azalea

Welcome to bonsaiTALK. I've learned alot here so hope you do to. I'm no Azalea expert but have one that might make a bonsai in a few years. It is sort of a broom style in the sense that the canopy is more or less rounded so i think it is possible.

The tree looks, good I have an Azalea with a 4 in trunk I trying to work on, a guy who was about to get rid of it from his yard sold it to me for $5.00 and now it's in a big pot growing. keep up the good work with your trees.
