Azalea

This is a before and after picture of my Satsuki azalea 'Kaho' when in bloom last spring and after pruning. I pruned it this february because it was so overgrown I thought it would be good for it to go a year without flowering. I got a new Tokaname pot for it and will repot as soon as the weather is warm enough. Hope you enjoy the blooms.

Re: Azalea

Nice tree, Sandi. It realy zigs and zags. I've had more trouble growing azalea than anything else, too hot in the summer around here I think.

Re: Azalea

I like the tree already, but I couldn't help myself. Here's the tree as a mame semi-cascade.

Re: Azalea

Zeb & Rene, Thanks for the reply. I love the virtuals! I would never have the guts to do it, but it's fun to see what it would look like if I did. My climate is a zone 8. Northwest coastal. The azaleas grow in everyones' yard here. It's really pretty in the spring if it's not raining.
