Wink Autumn Colour / Fall Color

I took a few snaps today before the wind deprived me of the oportunity yet again. I always seem to miss the best of the Autumn colour.

This is a little Shohin Trident Maple about 9" tall. It will be going into a proper pot next year.

I love the little maple. Remind me of Roboku's post of his new tree here

We don't get much fall color for awhile, and it is gone all too quick.

Here is my Liquidambar getting a taste of fall. (From Midori Bonsai Club's Fall 2003 Display)

Matt

My trident's are much yellower already but my Larche's are also toast....almost no needles left. I'm in a windy spot also but I never thought that was responsible for the quick larch needle drop. I have two other larch that are about 20 feet away, but lower and out of the wind that are still green.
