Blue thing is some fertilizer by Algoflash.
It's cheap, it's balanced and it's visible!

Hum, and grass seems to like it!

I have been eating these figs off my dad's tree from since I can remember. They are delicious. Don't know how your tree will cope with so many figs.

It started with 16, but bad handling has reduced it to 14 on two distinct ocasions.
And if there is a Stress Conservation Law, then I hope it helps to reduce the tree's stress, because it has increased mine.

Two on a branch is probably a good limit as they develop. I would probably limit a tree that size to 3 or 4 figs at maturity.

Regards,

Matt

What is the drawback of not pruning the figs?
Will the tree have less growth?
Am I overfertilizing? Last Autumn (when I bought the tree) it had only 3 fruits... (Perhaps they pruned the excess ones(?))
