Another Weekend, Another Procumbens

Hello Everyone,

Have you ever gotten a piece of material home and wondered what ever made you think this could be a decent tree? Was it one too many adult beverages? Was your mind expanded a bit too much back in the seventies? Well, a couple of weeks ago, I traded for two procumbens that I thought would be ok trees. (one was posted last week). When I got into the second one, I just could not figure out what possessed me to bring this home.

Before.

I went around and around this tree a dozen times and couldn't see anything, so I put it aside and left it for another day. This afternoon, I decided to give it a shot. Here is the result. I'm not too proud of this one, but I'll post it anyway. Honest critiques welcomed.

Thanks,

David

You did the best that the material could make.

Yeah, the material wasn't the greatest. Is it just me or does the trunk have some reverse taper?

Stephentoddope's idea is very good. The top is quite nice!

You could possibly even go han-kengai.
