Another "Favorite Oak"

This oak is one of my bonsai that gave me the "sumo style" idea. Height from soil line is 25 inches.
This oak was collected many years ago. I aquired it 20 some years ago by exchanging an expensive Tokoname pot for the tree. It was still in a box and untrained.
It's a California oak, but maybe not "Coast". The foliage looks like it came from some area to the east of the coast, maybe in the lower Sierra foothills.

That is all trunk. Circumference at soil line is close to 29.5 inches. Dividing with pi gives a diameter of about 9.4 inches or so. It is a stout fellow for sure.
