Akatsuki Spring Exhibit 2005

Akatsuki club of Fresno had their Spring Exhibit for 2005 on Sunday.
Since the exhibit I have been busy. I bought a new 2005 Toyota Tundra today after work and have not got all the photos downloaded, nor cleaned up. I do have a teaser for you, and will have the rest of the photos by Friday at the latest. I have many new pics for Matt's TOD if he is interested.

Regards, Bonsai-al

More of the trees form the exhibit last Sunday. The club Sensei, Katsumi Kinoshita and his Monterey Pine.

A nice boxwood, Cal. juniper, Coast live oak and a foemina juniper forest.

No shortage of gingko forests in this club. These forests are about 45" tall and quite large. Two man pots for sure.

One of the best maple cascades I have ever seen. This dissectum is by artist Mike Nishitani. (pictured)

Chinese Saikai with right branch pruned back to half, and a nice Ume loaded with plums.

Prostrata juniper,Pyracantha, and a group of shohin.

White pine, broom style maple and a large zelcova forest. This group is 45" tall and the pot measures 42" across. This is a very large planting.

Al, I second you on the best cascading maple I have ever seen. Superb. Also great trees all round.
