well, mineral spots I can deal with. On another forum I posted a question about egg-like things I found in the soil of some of my recently aquired nursery material. I was quite concerned that they would hatch into some terrible bug. Anyways, I just remember sifting these egg things out during potting, but one afternoon, I was watering and one popped up out of the soil. I almost fell over!! Can certainly give you cause for pause!
Turns out it's that fertilizer that just leaves an empty ball behind! Kinda creepy, considering I just started doing Bonsai in the US. Oh, and another guy have the same thing, but they were blue! YUCK! |
