Acer shohin

This little Acer shohin kept smiling to me today at Lodders Nursery. I had to take it with me I'm not sure what kind of Acer it is, but I like the rock it's on. And it needs some shaping. I'm not sure about the front of this Acer ... any ideas ?

#44 might make a good front, but we'd need to see it straight on to really tell. The pic now is slightly angled downward I think.

I was also thinking about 44, because the stone looks better, but then I need to get the top to the other side. It's going away from the viewer in 44.

Send a message via AIM to ChrisM
changing the planting angle on pic 44 and putting in a nice nick lenz pot could give you something like this.

Hi Levon, hi, Chris, nice idea tilting the rock, heres my effort which emphasises the swollen sumoesque trunk section where it has fused to the rock, again using pic...44, Andrew
