2 Mountain Pines - 50€ Each.

Last week in a garden center I run against these two mountain pines. They are both selling for 50€ (59$). The trunk diameter is about 4-5 cms at the base. I'm thinking on bringing nº1 home but I'm afraid pines are not that easy to train and style.

How much do you usually pay for this at the place you live?

There appear to be enough brances, and relatively low, so maybe everything else - trunk taper, movement and branching can be created, but trunk base and roots are what a good bonsai must be born with.
