90 year old beautiful bonsai

On show at a local nursery were two bonsai trees that are for sale. They are currently going for about £16,000 and £20,000.

They are incredible trees and so i took some pictures today. Take a look, they are white pines (pinus parviflora). If the pictures isn't quite clear i apologise but i had to resize them alot from the original so i could upload them.

NOTE these are NOT my trees (wish they were though).

Oh for height comparison my father stood next to them, he is about 6ft tall.

Nice trees.
At that size I don't know if they are too big to be consitered bonsai.

Trees look like they are going to be put in a Japanese garden, not bonsai. Trees are very nice, and your pa too.

Peace
Bob

Well i remember reading somewhere that in an administrative building in Japan they had to make the trees alot bigger so that they would be in perspective with the hall. Otherwise you would have hardly noticed them, i know there are limits to bonsai size but in that kind of situation they would fit.

Either way they are incredible trees, i wish i had gotten some closer shots of the ramification on them.
