I soon found out why the root mass was so heavy, there was a large rock hiding in there

I was very happy with the amount of root. From past experience this will do well.

Last one.
The tree was ready for repotting. It was covered in lush growth and I could see new roots in the grit around the box. If it hadn't been like this I would have left it for at least another year. I'm glad I did it now, I have more space in the tunnel

The tree is back into the tunnel until next Summer when it will go outside as long as it shows signs of new growth.

I hope you like the authentic Belfast box

Regards
Ian

That is one big juni. I dont think I will be collecting tree's that big yet. How many years did it take for it to come back all the way? How big is the tree? I think this will turn out to be a nice tree. Keep us posted with the styling of this one.

Very nice tree Ian...Thanks for sharing the nice pictorial history...I look forward to seeing how you choose to style this tree...lots of good possibilities here...I am sure you will choose a good one, because it always seems like you have a good eye for that...

Regards

Behr
