Thanks guys!

Dale, I'm in Hilliard, just West of I-270.
The house was built in '98, and it's in great shape!

Hilliard is a nice suberb, and pretty convenietly located. You should enjoy it there. Congrats!

We are in the middle of selling our house in Chicago - you are right, it is a pain in the A__

Pootsie,
Congrats to you and the GF, nice looking place. And how cool is it that J. Hill is 10 minutes away! He'll have some ideas for your backyard for sure (just watch for the pirate flag installation...he'll tell ya).

Congratulations, though, and good growing.

Scott

Poots, I'm envious. You have alot more space than I have. I can envision a few monkeypoles for choice specimens and benches along the fence... around a mulched bed of maple and pine, with a granite oribe lantern at one edge...

I've always believed that those poufs that enjoy "extreme" sports have NEVER co-signed a l30-year mortgage with a significant other. Talk about nerves of steel... Homeownership is not for the faint of heart. Good luck. Nice place

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts.
I do see monkey poles in my future, and maybe I'll invite Al over to build me a shohin display area.

Pootsie,
Forget the tomatoes and green peppers and stuff, that's what supermarkets are for. This is what you need. Tell the GF 30ft is all you need, and whatever is left is hers.

You can go with the peppers and tomatoes. But you need to convince the spouse that the time to grow them yourself is in the winter. Then you can swing a great new greenhouse, which just might be useful for propagation & tropical plants.

Regards,

Matt

Well, in case y'all noticed that I've been silent for two weeks, my move is completed. Rest a assured that I am now back to babble at y'all like a halfwit again!

My indoor crew is now living in a basement-- my underground growing operation, you could say (but say it quietly please) The poor things spent a few days without any light, but I set up the lights and I could hear them sigh with relief.

The outdoor crew was frozen solid for the move, but are now thawing in the warm Columbus sun. Spring is right around the corner!!!
