The Wuggums-En Bonsai Garden is MOVING

Kitty and the trees will be finding a new home in Columbus Ohio.
My girlfriend and I are going too, along with the dog

My firm is xfering me to the Columbus office and I'm supposed to start on/by Valentines day, so I better get going! I just got preapproved to buy a house (first time jitters) and of course, I'm looking for a place with a decent fenced yard to keep the trees in, greenhouse for tropicals a plus

My girlfriend and mother have told me in no uncertain terms that I am NOT allowed to choose a house based solely on whether there are old junipers in the yard that I can dig up. We'll see, hahaha

Wish us luck!

pootsie, Dez, Theresa, Arrow, and a bunch of trees

Pootsie,
Do they need more lawyers in Columbus?? :>)

You'll find the Columbus bonsai club much larger and more active than Cleveland for sure!!. It meets the third Sunday each month at 2pm at the Franklin Park Conservatory on Broad st. about 2 mile east of rt71.
Also, not a real bad drive to Cinci club which is large and very active with oodles of guest speakers.

Thanx Dale!

My GF just informed me that there is NO WAY we are picking out a house just for the old junipers. If she wasn't watching me type this, I'd make some smart-@$$ remark.

Pootsie,

Are you afraid to make smart **s remarks in front of your girlfriend?

You ARE well trained!

BTW, I forgot to mention the Dayton club about 1 1/4 hrs the other direction. They meet at Cox Arboretum but I don't remember which night.
As I said before, if you don't mind the 1 1/2hr trip to Cinci, you'll see lots of known guests and they usually have workshops with them all.

Doesn't mean you can't eye the neighboring lots!

Goodonya Poots!

I assume that your transfer is a positive thing? Don't be too worried about the whole home loan thing - The Good Lady and I have been doing it 4 a year now, and it ain't killed either of us (yet).

Peace 2 U and yours.

Thumbs up

...and 1 of the best things about having 2 move is that U can 'accidentally' 'forget' 2 bring some of those 'trees' that 'aren't working yet'... Just ask the PFMP (that's NetSpeak 4 'Potential Future Mrs Pootsie')...

Congrats!!! I hope you have better luck than I have, oh yeah you don't have to sell first. This is my advise: location, location, location. Make sure it is in an area that people want to move into. Sounds basic but when you go to sell and move up to bigger and better things you'll understand. Owning is much better than renting! Except when you find your water heater, roof or basement leaking (for me it is the water heater right now ). Good luck!!!
