As of today There is no info on BCI's website about this bracelet.
Did anyone actually get their bracelet? I almost fell for it but I went to BCI's website after Mr. informative Steve's and they have no mention of it. That and the crappie misaligned photo that kept circulating, made me off about sending money into cyberspace. If Steven had the bracelets made out of the kindness of his heart and was selling them via his business only, why hasn't BCI thanked him for his generosity? It upsets me to think that people sent money to this guy instead of people who needed it, if that's the case. If you want to support BCI get their magazine or buy one of their pins. If they need help I'm sure they will ask for it or they will raise their prices. I hope I'm wrong, if I am I would love to help them out a little more by buying a bracelet, I don't think I have one that shade of green yet. Perhaps Steve needs to be mentioned for his noble acts of thoughtfulness or he needs to have an ethics check. I'll ask again, did anyone actually get a bracelet? |

Actually if one goes back to post #1 here you will find that the message was originally posted to the IBC web site by Allan Walker. Last I heard he was the president of Bonsai Clubs International. (that could have changed by now.) Knowing Allan like I do it was no scam. Hopefully this will satisfy your desire to have an ethics check on Steve. ;o) Last edited by RonMartin : 21-Dec-2005 at 05:00 PM. Reason: spelling |

I got a bracelet from matsumomiji. Don't know if the proceeds ended up going to BCI.
